Uganda has been branded as a primate safari country due to gorilla tracking, chimpanzee trekking and other primates in popular national parks such as Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Mgahinga National Park, Budongo Forest in Murchison Falls National Park as well as Kibale Forest National Park. Most of these treks mentioned above primate activities have a minimum age which sometimes hinder children to participate in them. For example for one two trek gorillas and chimpanzees in Uganda, he/she has to be 15 years and above. In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, our Uganda safari activities for children include forest/nature walks. Whichever side of the park we will book you, Uganda Wildlife Authority has designed trails to enable tourists enjoy walks in the forest. These guided forest or nature walk with expose your children to other primates in the forest, birds, butterflies, different types of plant and tree species and waterfalls with in the forest. We take care of your children until you return back from your gorilla trek. There is also an option of riding bicycles around the nearby village or in the forest

Kibale forest National Park is a low land tropical rain forest and as such the terrain is not as hard and demanding for children. Most of these activities in these national parks do not require any age limitation. For example all game drives are open to children and boat cruise to the bottom of the falls and albert delta in Murchison Falls may inspire your children. In Queen Elizabeth National Park, game drives to see wild game including tree climbing lions of ishasha may be ideal for your children. What about a boat cruise on Kazinga channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park?
