Advantages of trekking mountain gorillas in dry season

One of the advantages of trekking mountain gorillas in dry season in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga National Park and or Volcanoes National Park is that there is less rainfall. Rain can disrupt gorilla trekking due to the fact that heavy down powers lead to the grounds being slippery making it hard for gorilla trekkers to walk or climb the hills in Bwindi, Mgahinga or Volcanoes. Rains alone can cause discomfort while trekking gorillas. It should be noted that there is no guarantee that there will be no raining during dry seasons in Uganda. As earlier noted, Global warming has drastically affect the climate of Uganda and Rwanda and as such one has to prepare for both. In the case of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, rain can come anytime of the day due to the fact that it is a huge tropical rain forest influencing the climate and weather conditions in the forest as well as the surrounding villages so much as rain might less during the dry season, one cannot rule out that possibility.
