Discounted Gorilla Permits

Uganda Wildlife Authority has promised to continue offering low season gorilla permit offer for coming years but the price might change for 2018. Price for discounted gorilla permits is decided every year and when announced, we at Encounter Africa Safaris will inform all our clients and Tour Agents about it. We therefore encourage anyone who would like to save $150.00 per permit to contact us with dates.

All you need to do is provide us with the actual date in November 2016-17 when you want to trek gorillas, we will then check availability of gorilla permits at Uganda Wildlife Authority on that particular date. Once permits are available, we will invoice you for full payment and 20% of total safari cost for us to confirm your gorilla permit and other services to be provided on your gorilla trekking Uganda safari.

Discounted gorilla permits must be paid in full and are none refundable but can be moved or rescheduled to another date just in case you get any problem with your initial date. You will have to send us a copy of your passport as Uganda Wildlife Authority needs then to prove that you are either East African, Foreign Resident or Foreign None Resident due to the fact that prices differ depending on your status. The other reason why they ask for your passport is to establish the age of those requesting for gorilla permits. The minimum age for gorilla tracking is 15 years and above so when passports are provided, age limit can be established and they will advise you if you are eligible or not.
