Buhoma has three gorilla families of Mubare, Habinyanja and Rushegura, Ruhija now has four gorilla families, Rushaga has more than five while Nkuringo has two.

Bwindi gorilla permits cost USD600 after Scrapping off low season gorilla permits that used to be at USD450.00 Uganda Wildlife Authority offer different price depending on whether you are foreign resident, None foreign resident or East African.
